It will be performed a series of lectures on environmental education and social responsibility, including all primary and basic schools in the Community. The lectures will be supplemented by audiovisual presentations, videos and educational films, and also with the distribution of leaflets with basic teachings on environmental education and social responsibility.<\/p>\n<p>2.17.2. The Biosphere Global Institute will offer a list of basic training courses and \/ or training courses in partnership with other specialized institutions. These courses will be earmarked for social inclusion of young people and adults of the community of the &#8220;City of God&#8221; (Cidade de Deus), in order to better qualify them to obtain employment and income.<\/p>\n<p>Among the topics available for social inclusion courses, we highlight: electricity, electronics, basic computer, computer operator, web-designer, carpentry, construction, porter and guard, maid (o) in lodging facilities, receptionist at media hosting, makeup, food and beverages, basic gourmet kitchen, pizzaiolo, design and fashion, fashion designer, gardening, window dresser, first aid, recreative, attendant and manager of waste recycling facilities.<\/p>\n<p>Date: March to September 2017<br \/>\nLocation: Rio de Janeiro, RJ<\/p>\n<p><strong>Extension Activity III<\/strong><br \/>\nTheme: Award &#8216;Talking About Environment&#8217; \u2013 The Biosphere Global Institute promotes a competition for young students from 50 primary schools in the city of Rio de Janeiro, in order to select the best essays on the topic &#8220;What is the Importance of the Environment to me, for My City and to the World &#8216;. The medals and diplomas will be awarded to the authors of the 20 best essays in scheduled ceremony.<\/p>\n<p>Date: August to October 2017<br \/>\nLocation: Rio de Janeiro, RJ<\/p>\n<p><strong>Research, Projects and Technical Consulting<\/strong><br \/>\nTheme: In response to expressions of interest received from several Brazilian institutions, the Global Institute Biosphere plans to hold, in 2018, several lines of research, projects and technical consultancy in environmental and sustainable development areas. Therefore, whenever it is necessary, the advisory services may be used provided by our National and International Board and also by selected consultants Technicians.<\/p>\n<p>Among the subjects with higher technical demand, we highlight: urban ecology, environmental sanitation, waste treatment, alternative energy sources, forest conservation, marine and terrestrial biodiversity, coastal management, water management, carbon credits, social responsibility, landscaping and ecotourism.<\/p>\n<p>Date: Continuous (starting 2017)<br \/>\nCoverage: Brazil<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>IMPORTANT NOTE:<\/strong><br \/>\n<em>This schedule is preliminary.
