Associate Professor of Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) and Representative of ABRH in the Technical Chamber CTCOST of the National Council of Water Resources – CNRH.

He holds a degree in Chemical Engineering (UERJ) and a Ph.D. in Chemistry (Inorganic Analytical Chemistry) from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-RJ). Friedrich Herms has experience in Chemistry with emphasis on Trace Analysis, Municipal Management and Management of Water Resources, working mainly in the following subjects: oceanography, environment, pollution, municipal strategic planning and Water Resources management.
