DR. YEDA MARIA MALHEIROS DE OLIVEIRA


Yeda Malheiros holds a bachelor’s degree in Engineering and a Masters in Engineering, Forest Resources Management, at the Federal University of Paraná; And her PhD, Forest Inventory and Remote Sensing, at the University of Oxford, UK. Currently, she is the Vice-President of the 25th IUFRO World Congress, the largest forum for discussion among forest research institutions. She has been a researcher at Embrapa Florestas since 1978. She has experience in Forest Resources and Forest Engineering, working mainly on the following topics: forest monitoring (management and inventory), forest planning, remote sensing, growth and production, growth and production simulation and surveys Aerial.
